Katie lookout for Kelly Wallace at CBS - she just did the evening news.
I had to look at her very closely, there was something familiar about her but the face didn't ring a bell. Finally, I saw a trace of someone who once worked at CNN. Then CBS put her name on the screen - Kelly Wallace. Wow, she was stunning tonight but she used to look quite plain and lack luster. Kelly must have a very skillful plastic surgeon.

I could not find a photo of her look today but here on some photos up to 2006:

Kelly Wallace at CNN in 2001.

Kelly Wallace at CNN in 2003.

Kelly Wallace at CBS in 2006.

1. But did she avoid "tarting up" the news?

2. Yes, she was very professional - with no tarting.
I feel she would do very well replacing Katie.

5. Don't you think CBS picked Katie for the nightly news for the wrong reasons?
Edited on Sat Jun-16-07 08:40 PM by glarius
They wanted a star news journalist to replace Dan Rather but instead they chose someone who in her job on the ToDay Show was noted mostly for her bubbling personality. This quality is not what was needed for the nightly news and Katie had to "act serious". Katie without the "bubbles" is just an ordinary reporter and does not stand out in any way. Perhaps I'm wrong, but that's how I see it.

6. Isn't this like rearranging the deck chairs on the Titanic, or is it the Hindenburg?
Does it really make any difference which "newsreader" they use? These people don't have any control over what goes on the teleprompter do they?

7. No comment on the news but she looks hot in all 3 pics.
If a girl that looks like that has plastic surgery, she's a moran.
