I realize he needs all the extra money to get/keep his war on, but shouldn't this raise a few Congressional eyebrows?

Bush promises to veto homeland security bill.

Yesterday, the House passed a bill to fund the Department of Homeland Security, despite President Bush’s veto threat. The White House objects to a provision that would require DHS contractors to “pay their employees at least the local prevailing wage.” It also “funds the hiring of 3,000 new border patrol agents, rejects the cuts President Bush sought in the training and equipping of first responders, and improves aviation and port security.”

1. "Pay the local prevailing wage"

those not of his class and privilege.

2. Money is incentive and they're asking Americans to risk their lives.
Surely, with life being valuable, theres would be a fair price involved?

Or is President Bush going to veto it in favor of something that pays a reasonable amount?

6. It is all about the "Upper Class", if you are not worth millions...
you simply don't exist, as far as he's concerned. He's a pig, awash in privledged money, he never had to work a day in his life, never had to get into a job worth working...he's a pig, sucking off the workers.

When he's out, it would be interesting to see if there is a way to strip him of his never earned cash and give it to the homeless he created. Leave Pickles and the turkey baster twins w/nothing so they have to take in laundry to pay for a meal...maybe then they would understand.

Put the bastard on a chain gan in Southern TX, no water, no food, just a pick and some pissed off people and venomous critters...:D
