I understand that you stated at this week’s LD11 meeting that Democrats should give Phil Gordon a pass for his supporting a warmongering Republican for president. I understand that the war (or illegal occupation if you prefer) isn’t the only issue facing our nation, but it is the most important. Everyone with a brain knows that its cost in blood, treasure, and family sacrifice is hardly worth the alleged benefits, unless you are a war profiteer.

I have one question for you: Besides cronyism, what reasons does Phil Gordon give for endorsing Sen. McCain? I truly want to know, because if they’re good enough, maybe I’ll throw my support to McCain and other Republicans.

Employee attitude and performance in many departments have gone noticeably down since he took office.

I can't stand him. Rimsza was more Democratic (even though a Republican) and managed the city way better.

I truly don't consider Gordon Democratic at all.
