Why does Bush surround himself with doughy, pasty-faced, little men?

I see it as a kind of pathetic narcissism ... the feeble effort of a little man who knows that he will always be a little man, to appear manly by comparison. Bush is the cheerleader who couldn't make the football team, the fighter pilot who couldn't fight, the oil man who couldn't find oil in Texas. I could almost feel sorry for the jug-eared little prick, were it not for the irreparable damage he has done to the country that I love; and the inescapable fact that it does no good to pity sociopaths. You must either lock them up or extinguish them.

Remember when he called on a reporter in a mini-presser outside by saying he had a "face made for radio", and when the guy didn't comment on it, he said it again. The reporter blandly retorted something to the effect of "I heard you the first time, sir".

The guy's just an asshole to the core, a spoiled, petty, vengeful, lazy, arrogant, combative dick, and it couldn't be more obvious. Once more, I have to say it: I hope he lives to be a thousand so he can see his ignominy. The phone will never ring, the party will avoid him like the plague, and his narcissism will eat at him like a lamprey's saliva in its target fish.

Generally, schadenfreude ain't my thing, but this guy's a very special case.
