Iraq Veterans Against the War stage demonstration in Chicago
Edited on Tue Jun-19-07 06:00 PM by genie_weenie
Iraq Veterans Against the War staged a dramatic protest in Chicago Monday, surprising people passing by but apparently changing few minds about the war.

Shouting and shoving, soldiers in desert military fatigues rounded up volunteers posing as Iraqi citizens at various locations throughout the Loop, including train stations, the Daley Center, Boeing headquarters, and an Army recruiting office.

Edit: This was the 4th Operation First Casualty (OFC). DC, New York and Santa Monica have been done prior to the Chicago.

1. They've already done this in NY and DC; there are videos showing
their 'act'. It's very dramatic; good for them! And who knows how many minds they're changing? Certainly not the author, who I doubt polled everyone who saw the IVAW.
