Adam Kokesh Adam Kokesh served with courage as a Marine in Iraq. In fact, he volunteered for combat in George Bush's war and survived the intensely bloody street fighting in Fallujah.
Upon his return to the United States, Kokesh was given an honorable discharge and placed in the Individual Ready Reserve on inactive status. He finished his undergraduate work and became a member of the Iraq Veterans Against the War.
Kokesh, now a graduate student at George Washington University, participated in an Iraq war protest on the 4th anniversary of the conflict. He was photographed and filmed wearing some of his former Marine apparel at the time of the demonstration.
