Hillary drops, Obama hits ceiling then drops, Gore soars, Edwards stays level.

The polls (avg) show Clinton and Obama dropping. The biggest turnaround appears to be in the slope of Obama's numbers. Notice the amazing climb, the ceiling he hits, followed by a drop. Gore has been rising strong while Edwards stays level. Given a Gore run, he is looking good right now. Given no Gore run, Edwards is the only candidate to not be on a downslope. (Disclaimer: National primary polls often mean little as Lieberman was winning in 2003 at this point and John Kerry was in 4th.)

(Edit: I am specifically looking at changes since March (the first line in 2007))

1. Edwards is staying level?
Looks to me like he is in on the decline though not as severe as Clinton or Obama or his previous decline from 2005 to late 2006.

2. Since March (the first line in 2007) is what I am looking at. I should have said that in the op.

Edwards may have a tiny slope downward there, but it seems like maybe 0.2%

I think we can call that level

Especially compared to Hillary's 4pt drop, Obama's 2pt drop, and Gore's 6pt gain.

7. Being a nit, I have to pick
;-)

From where you got the graph

"The Democratic frontrunners haven't suffered the sharp declines that Giuliani and McCain have, but none are showing strong positive gains either. Clinton has fallen off just a few points recently, Obama seems stalled and Edwards has a very slight decline in support. So who do Democrats like more and more? Al Gore, the non-candidate."

8. well, I'll pick too
Obama has done more than "level off" he is obviously comming down in that graph, by at least 1.5% more than Edwards. (since March)

3. What you said.
Edwards is declining as well, especially in the last week's trend.

4. He's at the same point he was 2nd quarter last year, with very little variance in between...
... I'm not sure what else is required to say "same level".

5. "I'm not sure what else is required to say "same level"."
Because the phrase was staying level, not same level.

If you look at the graph it shows Edwards trending down overall for the graph life and within the last couple of weeks.
