13. Irrationality was supported |
|
and institutionalized quickly by people very well prepared to take advantage of 9/11 for their own ends. There is an overarching craziness among them, including relieved media people who found the biggest emotional cover for committing their own crimes against America and their profession. NYC people are the people most stung by the con, the most justly angry in general. The wet underwear fear of Bushie ideologues and fools has withered, but their reactions are inconsequential in the discussion of the movement from sanity to craziness. How can you tell?

6. The propaganda and dishonesty of our government |
|
pushed grief and anger into paranoia, and irrationality while the horror of it was fresh. The lack of leadership from anywhere was stunning. Yes, this nation lost it's mind and soul.

8. I'd describe my post 9/11 mother as crazy |
|
Ever since that day she has denied all reality when it comes to politics, even when the truth is staring her directly in the face. It's either that or her anti-anxiety drugs. I feel bad for her but there's nothing I can do, believe me I've tried.

12. I'm right there with ya.... |

Mine watches Fox Noise 24/7.....had tried to at least give another side to some current BS that they are spewing, but it's a lost cause. I think, for her, it has brought up feelings concerning the Great Depression and WWII. She views Muslims (or any foreigner for that matter) just like the Japanese...... She's 74, and all I can do is love her for she is my Mother, no matter how misguided her politics are.

It just gave them the excuse to act on the craziness already inside of them.
Well, assuming you are talking about Republicans :)

15. If 9/11 made us paranoid, the Bush Maladministration |
|
sent us over the edge to, optimistically speaking, temporary insanity, the neocons would love nothing more than to make this condition permanent.
Whereas Franklin Roosevelt said "We have nothing to fear but fear it self" Bush says be afraid, be very afraid, except when you go shopping.

|
country behind him..that's how CRAZY everyone was.
Only bush could squander that with what?..26% left?
What does bush care..he thinks unca rove and unca dick are always gonna be there to take care of him. What does he care if he goes down in history as the worst president(sic) EVER to OCCUPY the whitehouse?

A frightened mob displays traits that are the antithesis of rationality and critical thought.
