3. Brains, Belief, Leadership
We have seen what a dumbfuck, provincial President can achieve.

Belief -- and I DON'T mean religious belief. Belief in people, belief in a plan, belief in the power of the government to make America better.

Leadership -- the hardest one of all to find. Big Bill had it/has it. Don't know if Hillary has it.

8. Does not have to be partisanship
but a set of belief with which I can feel comfortable as far as the role of government and the desire to work for the people, not for donors.

Ability to keep an open mind, courage to change stands - based on changes of conditions.

Ability to work with others of different opinions, to form coalitions, to reach over to work with the other side.

Honesty and respect for Federal funds.

Ability to formulate a platform and to communicate it.

9. Character--Can I trust this person to govern in a forthright
and honest way. Does he/she make promises and then
not keep them. Is the person ready to be specific.
If a person always deals in generalities or the answer
is made in such a way that I can interpret it anyway
I wish---Then later in office they have left themselves
enough room to say "Oh, that is not what I meant"
the trust factor goes down the drain.

Democratic President--I am constantly searching for clues
to see how closely they value what I value. Are they
Conservative Democrats or Liberal Democrats. I can live
with either --where are they conservative?? If FiscallY
Conservative--how tight fisted and green eye shade are they?
Most Important: Where do they stand on Social Justice?
Will they give humongous Benfits(taxpayers money to Corporations
and be stingy with the vulnerable among us???

Foreign Policy: Do they have a general outline with a few
policy principles so I can judge if this is what I value?

Defense Spending: General outline of where they stand on this

I would like if it can be worked out Consitutionally that we
have a foreign policy advisory group that is comprised of people the American People Know.
Conservative Democrat like Sam Nunn, Democrat like Gen. Clark
Conservative Republican like Sen. Lugar. James Baker General Zinni
REAL LIVE LIBERALS Yes some one like K Vandenhueval Real LIVE LIBERTARIAN . With points of view and a breadth of knowlege. Congress should never get us into a mess like this again.

Health Care Plan which covers all Americans. Would prefer
a single payer system, but am willing to listen

Protect Social Security. This makes America America.

Social Justice Issues are my primary concern. Fairness
Jobs, etc. The Trade Policy at this time does
not meet social justice standards, IMO.

10. Intelligence. It'd be nice if the guy running the Country was smarter than
your average household dust bunny. Is that too much to ask?

Intelligence, Integrity and a sense of Honor. They go a long way.
