Vigilante justice...Man killed by crowd after child ran over
To start with, I am wondering why this child was wandering around in a parking lot after dark.
The guy got out to see if the child was alright...he didn't drive off and the child wasn't hurt seriously. But now his friend his dead.
I truly hope some people go to jail for this.:(

The friend, whom police have not identified, had hit a 3-year-old boy with his car and got out to see if the boy was hurt. He was attacked, police said, and Mr. Morales, a passenger in the car, jumped out to intervene.

After the attackers turned on Mr. Morales, the friend got back in the car and drove away, police said. The driver was found half an hour later with "minor or nonexistent injuries," Austin police Cmdr. Harold Piatt said.

Mr. Morales was later pronounced dead at an area hospital. Police were still trying late Wednesday to identify his assailants.
