in no particular order some of my votes would go to:

Acropolis,Athens,Greece
Easter Island Statues,Chile
Great Wall,China
Machu Picchu,Peru
Stonehenge, Amesbury, United Kingdom
the Pyramids of Giza, Egypt (this was later taken out and given honorary inclusion as they are an original in the 7 wonders of the world)

1. Been through the Suez Canal a couple of times and was pretty impressed.
Its history goes back to nearly 2000 BC.
