Tricky Dick must GO!

It takes a brave man to say "Eff You" to the US, its citizens, its govenment, and the Constitution.

He's BEGGING for impeachment and trial. He's MOCKING us. He's daring us.

2. I wonder if that is a strategy
The best thing for Republicans right now would be for the American people to accept that the excesses of the Bush administration are specific to George W. Bush and Dick Cheney. The more the people buy into the theory that Dick Cheney and George W. Bush were to blame rather than the ideology they champion, the less work future Republican Candidates (all of whom share most of the same ideology) have to do to distance themselves.

By being particularly onerous perhaps Cheney is trying to draw fire away from the party and to himself?

Alas, it's a good theory, but I think Cheney and particularly Bush are too selfish to actually implement it; the simpler explanation is that Cheney is just as an asshole.

3. You can add a few more to that list.
Please include:

George W. Bush
Condoleeza Rice
Alberto Gonzalez

Let's see...that would make Nancy Pelosi the President. I'd be OK with that. Perhaps with these formidable figures out of the way, she'd actually DO SOMETHING to fix the problems they created.

A few months ago, I was thrilled with her. Today, not so much. Her performance got off to a good start, but has been lackluster since. I don't know why she's so afraid of the 10-20% group.
