What's with the media's fixation on how candidates smell? |
|
I lot of us have had a good, if horrified, laugh over Chris Matthews' gushing over Fred Thompson and so on, but then the Daily Show's Moment of Zen last night was of someone of CNN saying how Romney "looked good, sounded good, smelled good".
I mean, who cares how they smell? If a candidate has a plan for single payer health care, public financing of elections, and getting us the fuck out of Iraq by Jan. 21, 2009, I don't care if s/he's never had a bath in his/her lfe.
And as for Thompson, Mitt the Shitt, et al., I don't care how they smell, they still STINK.:P

3. two mentions isn't a fixation |
|
and only one of them referred to actual "smell". The other was metaphorical.
