And this is no joke. Why we aren't kicking down his door and arresting him is the question of the decade.

Are we AFRAID of the big bad dick?

1. If there's any politician who'd literally barricade himself in, it's Cheney
You'd need his secret service detail to be in on the arrest - they might need to disarm him. Seriously, I'd expect he keeps a handgun around, and he'd think about using it if anyone tried to arrest him.

2. Get The Crimes And Let's Go...
Doofus Addington has put his boss on some real legal thin ice here and if there was any time to nail this bastard it's now. Hopefully the Wilson's attorney is watching this situation closely as he may have the goods to do what you're asking for...taking crashcart down for his role in Plamegate.

Now if crashcart isn't a member of the "Executive"...then his invocation of Executive Privilidge...such as hiding the energy committee names or his selective waiving the "authority" to "de-classify" Plame's identity and slime her...is not only null and void but a misrepresentation and abuse of power.

The crimes this autocrat has committed are on such a scale that international justice is called for. If there was anyone deserving of being tried on war crimes, it's chenney.

Yep, the politicians are afraid. Afraid of being "pummeled" by the Mighty Wurlitzer and to "piss off" anyone...but lawyers can prosecutors aren't. If anything, we hopefully will see some intrepid investigators and prosecutors rise here as the damage chenney's created to the Constitution demands he be called into account.

Cheers...

3. Dick scares me....
due to the fact that with charges, he will in essence be fighting the Constitution in the Supreme Court. How many appeals and years will that take? The evil bastard will be dead before it is over. He knows this and knows he pretty well can do what the fuck he wants for the remainder of chimpboy's reign (that is, if the reign ends - chimpboy is just apt to declare Martial Lay just to stay dictator of the US). Dickhead Dick having this perspective makes him a very dangerous man.
:scared:

4. It is interesting
to consider other figures in Washington who intimidated their friends and foes alike. The two that come to mind are J. edgar Hoover and LBJ. Perhaps equally important is to consider why their friends and foes were so afraid of them, that they often behaved like dogs with their tails between their legs.

If you've got photos of a married Senator (or whomever) with a prostitute (male or female), you've made a friend for life, as it were.

7. dick and his left hand 'man' george have hijacked our democracy.......
and our country. It is interesting and strange there are very few in washington, d.c. doing ANYTHING about it. This is a HUGE problem when psychopaths are elected to the highest offices in the land; THEY are in the same class as hitler and other despots.

Why hasn't anyone made this an issue for people to talk about and do something. Everyone hears about Paris Hilton, she's in jail. Why can't somebody do something about dick and george and the rest of them.

11. Yes. A lawless nation takes many allies.
I cringe at what we're dealing with. A true and separate ruling class exits now. Democracy through the ballot box is an illusion only a fool can still believe in.

14. Well, he's done whatever the hell he's wanted and no one's stopped him, to date.
The fact that he's violated this nation's interests, stolen from its coffers, sacrificed the trust and lives of its people, treated its laws as mere ink on paper, spat on its Constitution, literally said "fuck you" to its representatives, profiteered/s off bloodshed and so on and so forth,...AND has gotten away with all of that, demonstrates he CAN CONTINUE TO DO WHATEVER THE HELL HE WANTS, without much fear of any repercussion or consequence.

anyone goes against Dick Cheney, it could create another David Koresch moment. I think it's true that the Democratic leaders are suffering from battered wife syndrome; and I think it's true that they're giving Dick Cheney and his Federalist Society pals, far too much credibility to lawyer the language.

You want to tear down the entire Federalist Society? Get Ted Olson on the air and have him explain why Dick Cheney is not in jail, and when his explanation turns out to be ludicrous, have the balls to come out and ask, "Do right-wing white men have more privilege in America, because we KNOW if Dick Cheney was a Democrat, all 91% r-w talk radio shows would demand that he be put in jail."

What gives dick his air of fuck-you-bility? Does he know something that we don't? How can he piss in our faces like this and know in his heart that we won't go a goddamned thing about it? How the fuck did it get like this?

Have you looked at that guy? Eyes like a serial killer. I am in fact convinced that the shooting of his buddy was no accident, it was part of Dick's periodic human hunting exhibitions. He probably made a trip to NOLA after Katrina just to be able to clean out his freezer by dumping all the parts in floodwater.

That guy fuckin' scares me.

34. Dick Cheney is a much, much better politician than all the Democrats put together.
Obviously since he can flagrantly and openly break any law, defile our country, and rape each and every citizen of this nation and no one has any idea how to do anything about it.

Our Congress, including the Democrats, should be held responsible for everything this administration does.

I'm beginning to think that Democratic leaders should be tried as criminal accomplices to Bush and Cheney's crimes.
