They are SUCH a bunch of hypocrites, but then we all know that.

Because, without impeachment, the accrued power is going to pass unchallenged to the next occupant of the White House. And I haven't heard a word from ANY candidate about giving it back.

You can spot 'em by the massive sense of entitlement.

6. Look what they did to Clinton |
|
Edited on Sat Jun-23-07 08:21 AM by MissWaverly
If it had not been the Paula Jones case it would have been something else. Remember that they fired an individual in the DOJ just because she did not vote for Bush in the primary. She voted for the other republican. So much for justice and freedom for all. They want lock step listening to the big money of their 25 lobbyists to every congress critter dance.

16. That was my first thought too... |
|
And it was over something really STUPID in comparison.
The Clinton/Monica BJ incident was not a criminal act. * having a prime role in the deaths of thousands of innocent people is. So is condoning torture. Not to mention what *'s done to the credibility of the office.

the maxim of the shoe on the other foot. How many of us would be spinning for our guys? 26%?

8. Oh they will. If dems win in '08 and go in and are as power hungry as this gang |
|
they will make a big stink about it and unlike the Dems they will probably even succeed at scaling it back because the dems in congress are too timid. Its a shame we don't have a bunch of Howard Deans in the House and Senate who will really fight the GOP instead of a bunch who are afraid of what people will think. Hell, Bush is at 26% (probably less than that) and Cheney must be at about 10% by now--so what are the Dems so afraid of? the country are sick as hell at this bunch and probably would give the dems a standing ovation if they impeached this pair.

go read some archived threads at FR and read about how they ranted about Clinton in '96 - '98. If Clinton would have been doing the things Bush is doing they would have stormed the WH 3 or 4 years ago.
