Can you read between the lines?

4. I was thinking of how Chimpy wanted Fed control over Louisiana.
I guess they don't have to do that with Repugs

9. I was thinking the very same thing. Nothing said on the news about that.
Nor will it ever be.

Though I like Crist fairly well, I don't feel that confident.

I wonder how we could find out?

5. Someone doesn't understand the diff between tornado damage & widespread hurricane
destruction apparently.

The scale of the 2 things can hardly be compared. Esp. Katrina versus this tornado in Florida.

What an idiotic thing to try to imply.

11. With all due respect and love to the Florida Victims
and their current plight, you are absolutely right. There is zero comparison of the latest Florida devastation and Katrina. Any conflicting words from members of the party of responsibility are nothing but irresponsibility squared.

10. And We Have A Governor Who Inherited A Bunch Of Crap That
that Good Ole Jebby left behind. Crist HAS NO CHOICE but to "do something" about "some" of it!

As one who is screaming bloody murder about my taxes, but MOSTLY MY INSURANCE... I was glad to hear they were going to have a special session to address the issues. And yes, something did get done... but NOT nearly enough. My insurance is due for renewal on the 23rd and I'm in the middle of cutting back to the bare knuckles so I can afford it. I was thinking about just insuring my house, without insuring the contents, having a $5,000.00 deductible now and not insuring my husband's workshop that is 28 x 48 and has an upstairs. The contents in THAT building should be insured because he has every damn tool and machine I can think of, but hey something's gotta give.

We need a ROLL-BACK, but I know that's not going to happen! My quote for this year, and my home is only 1350 sq. ft. is $4,000.00!! Highway Robbery!

Many people opted for "no insurance" because they CAN'T afford it.... so THE GOVERNMENT has to help!! Just goes to show what happens when some people get ALL the income!!

13. We've had so many hurricanes in Florida that we know how to deal w/them.
Lousiana and New Orleans had been spared for many years.

THAT'S what it's all about.
