The quickest way I know of to shut down this administration |
|
Over the last week we have learned that Little Boots and Dead-Eye Dick claim that procedures for handling national security information do not apply to them. In wartime, there is nothing more important than the safety of this information.
We also know, from long experience, that they see nothing wrong with declassifying any damn thing they want, especially items whose Declassification line is "Originating Agency's Determination Required."
So! Since the White House and the "Fourth Branch of Government" (you know, Dead-Eye) refuse to properly safeguard our nation's secrets, we must take the following steps immediately.
1. We must decertify the Sensitive Compartmented Information Facilities (SCIF) at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue, and at the undisclosed location Cheney hangs out at. Immediately following this decertification, a complete audit of all classified holdings issued to each SCIF, at which the Senior Official Present at each SCIF (basically, Shrub at the White House and Cheney at wherever in hell he is) must be present to answer questions about the holdings found, must be made and all classified holdings in each SCIF must be removed to a secure facility.
2. We must revoke the security clearances of all cleared persons working in those two SCIFs.
My thinking follows: Obviously we can't leave anything more highly classified than the lunch menu in the hands of such irrational people as Bush and Cheney, or anyone irrational enough to even consider working for them. The problem for Bush and Cheney is you can't even pretend to be preznit if you can't handle classified information. We pull the Shrub's clearance, and he will be forced to complain that he can't execute his duties if he can't get hold of any secrets to send to Faux News. Obviously, we can't just take a VERBAL complaint, right? We must have it in writing that he can't do his duties without any secrets to spill. Well...when Congress receives the letter, with the words "I am unable to execute the duties of my office" on it, we don't have to read any farther to know he's resigning under the provisions of the 24th Amendment.
If Cheney isn't cleared, he can't do any presidentin' either.

1. sheesh. If you only knew what they know. If you only knew. |
|
Dick and George are our pseudo-parents. They know best. they know everything. (And if you think I exaggerate, remember warrant-less wiretaps).
How dare you stand up to such perfect, wonderful, caring, warm, empathic, leaders?

2. When a political ideology has a vested interest in the IGNORANCE of the People ... |
|
... we are truly and deeply fucked as a democracy when such people are put in office. The education system, the media, the courts, the intelligence assets ... all are corrupted to deny truthful information to the People.

4. Did Rove lose his clearance? Anyone know? |
|
After Fitzgerald made Rove's role in the Plame outing public, Karl was transferred from being Bush's Chief Advisor to head domestic political affairs.
He's done a great job at that, too.:+
