Brasscheck TV
Just received the following email:

To: xxxxxxxx
From: "Brasscheck TV" <news@brasschecktv.com>
Date: Sun, 24 Jun 2007 08:47:56 -0400
Subject: Brasscheck TV: Good news, bad news

Xxxx

Yes, I've sent a fair amount
of e-mail in the past two
days.

I hope you've found the videos
I've researched for you and pointed
you out worthwhile.

Here's a report on Brasscheck TV
subscriber campaign to support
the book "Waging Peace" by Scott
Ritter.

There's good news and bad news.

Let's get the bad news out of the
way.

Somehow the YouTube pageview
counter got stuck on 219 page
views the first half hour into
the campaign, so we are not
getting credit for the thousands
of members who have visited the
site.

Conspiracy?

Probably not - but you never
know. It might just be a
technical glitch.

Here's the good news...

In spite of the page view glitch,
TouTube is counting "Viewer Ratings"
and "Favorited Video" correctly
which means - thanks to you -
this video which promotes an attainable
path to peace is currently:

#16 "Top Rated Video" on YouTube for
all videos uploaded in the past
24 hours

#29 "Top Favorited Video" on YouTube
for all videos uploaded in the past
24 hours.

As you know, there are thousands of
videos uploaded to YouTube every day.
Some of them featuring celebrities
and supported by mass media promotions.

In spite of this, together we've
been able to breakthrough to the
Top 20 in one category and the
Top 40 in another.

There's still a little time left in
the 24 hour window of opportunity to
move the video even higher up the
rankings.

Please visit and rank, favorite,
comment. Ask your friends to do
so too.

With a little push we could make
it to the #10 of the Top Rated
videos of the day.

In the cause of peace...

P.S. Please share Brasscheck TV videos
and e-mails with your friends and
colleagues. That's how we grow. Thanks.

2. Followup email to the above email:
xxxx

I thought you might like to know that as of this moment, the Brasscheck TV interview with Scott Ritter is:
#2 Top Rated video on YouTube for the day
#6 Top Favorites video on YouTube for the day
#33 Most Discussed video on YouTube for the day

There is still time to push these rankings up even higher before the clock strikes midnight in California.

P.S. Consider joining the Citizens Peace Manual Action Team to support Ritter's book. The link is on the YouTube page. (Upper right hand corner.)

P.P.S. Please share Brasscheck TV videos and e-mails with your friends and colleagues. That's how we grow. Thanks.
