ANOTHER "Saddam/al Qaeda: connection" yo-yo at work...AAAIEEEEEE!
You know what? The "PEOPLE" are NEVER going to wake up. There is NEVER going to be a "Changing of the guard."

IF, after almost SIX LONG YEARS there are still self-professed "News Junkies" who think they can draw a Saddam/911 connection, especially at the level where I spend my days, then the thought that things can and will change no matter what we do is POINTLESS and FOOLISH.

We had better get pissed off: a LOT MORE pissed off than we have been, and get really fucking public about it, or we are wasting our time.

We had better start SCREAMING: polite dialog will not work. We are going to have to pick up the shit in our bare hands, KNOCK the purposefully unknowing and purposefully uninformed to the ground and smear it in their faces.

OUTRAGE is our ally and our servant. COMPLACENCY and POLITE DISCOURSE are worse than our enemies: they waste our time, and we are running out of time.

1. You are of course, absolutely right. I would also throw in a "changing of
the guard" for many media outlets. Television, radio, print, some web. The media has the protection of the government and they have gotten absurdly fat, lazy and irrelevant. I have nothing but the greatest disdain for them.

The question is, how to organize and what action to take.

2. The "MEDIA" could use a good dose of "License Standards," liberally enforced.
Start with the "Fairness Doctrine" enforced across the board, INCLUDING cable stations.
