Bush and Dick continue to abuse their power and these pathetic Democrats don't do shit to stop them. Might as well just scrap it now. :-(

2. That's why they should impeach, regardless of the possibility of failure. |
|
As it is, they are condoning the rampant lawbreaking and disregard of the Constitution by this entire administration through doing nothing to stop it. Don't members of Congress swear to uphold the Constitution when they take office?

vow to "preserve, protect and defend" the Constitution.
I believe the oath members of the military take say they will "protect the Constitution from all enemies foreign and domestice". Hmmmmm.
Edit: Typo corrected

I believe they also have a means of relieving of duty superiors who violate certain codes of conduct. I wonder if that applies to the Commander in Chief.

The oath is as follows:
"I, (state your name), do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; and that I will obey the orders of the President of the United States and the orders of the officers appointed over me, according to regulations and the Uniform Code of Military Justice. So help me God."
Not only does the military swear (or affirm) to support and defend the Constitution, they also swear true faith and allegiance to it.
Unfortunately the military prefers to follow orders, instead of fulfilling their oath of allegiance, it's so much easier that way, and I guess that's what the Congress believes as well. It's easier to sit and watch the Constitution be spit upon by the likes of Bush and Cheney, then it would be to stand up and defend it!!!!

That would come at the end of a process where they built a public case. They shouldn't just begin by setting up some sort of loaded system. They have to investigate in public, demanding accountability all along the way, and build their public case.

7. And even edicts from the Lord hisself's mouth have no meaning from one day to the next |
|
One day his Executive Orders apply to his office, next day they don't. One day the Congress passes laws, the next day he writes them out of existance with his Signing Statements and one third of the laws that get through are not acted on by the responsible Agencies.
These are the people who will tell you Libby broke no law at all at the same time that existing laws mean nothing to them.

8. They have pissed all over the shredded constitution |

I don't know what we have left , these freaks in this admin pull their crimes right in front of our faces and nothings is done to stop them .
We call, we march , we write we do everything and still we continue to see them surge on ahead as if it's a joke and the joke is on us , the people .
The youth had better wake up and get active , our grand experiment is almost in it's coffin after 140 years of breathing .
You can't count on this government if we still even have one , it will take the actions of the people , impeachment seems like a dream now , people hope for this but hope is just an ideal .
This admin has shielded itself and sealed off the people . This keeps going we will be in Iran and there won't be elections in 2008 .
We have been lied to constantly and know it , they have all the proof they need if they were going to impeach they don't need every crime committed just one high crime , figure out the rest later .
I don't understand why they drag this out . We know they lied us into this war , is this not enough .
Each day the more that they do and as insane as it is the more I realize we are almost done for as a country .
I really hope I'm wrong but how much more will it take , we are running out of time here .
