1. Huffington never urged people to take baseball bats to us in her conservative days
No, I would never trust violent psychopath Coulter.

12. I remember thinking that Huffington was one of the least annoying conservatives...
I didn't agree with her but she didn't come across as a venomous asshole like the rest of them.

3. Hell no.
I don't trust most of these convenient "ex republicans" either. Ed Schultz, Michael Bloomberg, etc. Arianna seems to be the exception.

17. Bloomberg was a Democrat before he was a Republican
He changed parties to avoid losing the Democratic primary to Green.

23. Bloomberg was a Democrat most of his life, FWIW. He only changed parties to avoid having to
compete in a heavily populated Democratic primary.

Bloomberg is a Bloombergian, actually...!!! And a worry.

4. If she's still alive, then no.
As long as she's still alive, the next breath out of her mouth is likely to be spewing vile vicious hatred.

10. Huffington was never a neo con
Huffington was a conservative in the same sense that Canada's Progressive Conservative party are conservative - As in, not very conservative at all.

14. Would I trust her?
Probably not.

Would I even like her.

I expect she'd be saying things like "Bush is a fag," "Cheney will come out of the closet later this year," and "Gonzales is total fag," all without a shred of evidence to support it.

And no, I don't approve of that or even like it.

By the way, I've been gone for three days. Have they arrested Cheney yet?

19. I think she's genuine.
The way the right-wing treated her now ex-husband when he came out of the closet probably had a lot to do with her conversion. She saw the Republicans for the hypocrites that they are.

29. I do.
I also trust David Brock. Some people, who maybe were Republicans for financial reasons in the past, are genuinely appalled at the Theocratic nutjobs who have taken over that party. I don't see why folks can't have a change of Heart. Ann Coulter, on the other hand, doesn't have a heart to change. If seeing the Dead numerous times didn't fix her, nothing will.

and then we will see who will change seats or parties. I believe that if the Dems win more seats then in the next round the repugs will start pretending to be Dems to win seats.

She might start howling at the moon, eating human flesh or writing op-eds by smearing her own shit on the walls, but she's not going to suddenly turn liberal.

30. No, No, and Hell, No.
If she did such a thing, it would either because the nation's political axis had shifted so much she could no longer peddle her RW hatreds, or it would mean that the Apocalypse was upon us at last and nothing she said would matter.

Hmmm...the latter is pretty much as today.

37. Maybe
It would depend on what else she did. David Brock turned around, wrote a mea culpa, confessed his sins and has largely been forgiven. Coulter could do the same. If she sincerely repents, apologises and reforms (or just admits that she's been doing shedloads of crack for years) then maybe but trust would have to be earned, little by little, over years, not days and I doubt Coulter has that much patience.

39. Since Coulter approaches the edges of parody, I've often wondered if she was a closet liberal...
It's hard to imagine that anyone could say the outrageous things she says without an agenda of ridiculing the GOP, she's just so over the top.

So, I dunno. Huffington was never as far-out wacko as Coulter. She was the wife of a GOP lawmaker, not a pundit. It was after her conversion that she became notable.

Anyway, Coulter is a blueblood scumbag with a sense of entitlement from early on. I seriously doubt she will change her vicious ways.

and even then I might be tempted to dig her up just to make damn sure.
