Former Jacksonville pastor gets 48 months in prison for child porn

A federal judge has sentenced a former Jacksonville pastor to 48 months in prison for possession of photos of children engaging in sexual conduct, a press release from the U.S. Attorney's office stated.

Authorities arrested Joshua Allen, 23, in September after searching the church parsonage where he lived, and finding more than 600 photos on his two laptop computers, the release stated.

At the time of his arrest, Allen preached at Tyler Street Baptist Church in Jacksonville. The parsonage is next door to the church.
