If it's because of unpleasant exchanges (just a shot in the dark--such things tend to disturb *my* gastric juices. I've never, I firmly believe--I may be wrong, but I'm certain--done anything to provoke the venom level of the five or six I've gotten into), maybe just read for a while? I've certainly considered that upon occasion, but I wouldn't want to completely go away and miss all the good information that gets collected here.

Wish I knew what it was. But, then again, I might seem pushy giving advice. (The first paragraph is just *me* feeling sorry for myself and my thin skin.... ;) )

I fully appreciate the nature of what I'm asking you: without being in a position to present my reasons, I claim that DU stands to lose one of its integral members. On the strength of nobody's judgment but my own, I ask that you voice a word (or whatever) in support of their staying.

30. Whoever It Is, Stay! You're Cared About Here By Many And Your Presence Would Be Missed!

Sure, DU can get frustrating at times, but in the end of it all we're one big family. Though I don't know who I'm writing this in reference to, I get the vibe it is someone who is a wonderful person and is definitely a member of our family here. So whoever you are don't leave! DU needs wonderful people like you and even if our family has grown so large, every member is still important and necessary. So do it for Bloo, do it for DU, do it for YOU!

Whoever it is, I'm sure you've brought smiles to many. Here's one back. :)

Remember, we're all one big dysfunctional family, but we'd all still get each others backs whenever necessary. :grouphug:

I enjoy reading posts of thoughtful folks - and caring folks - and even ascerbic posters with one-liners that provoke thought by refering both to current events/trends and ironic twists of conversational trends on DU.

I am not around as much as I would like these days, so my words may not mean much - but for my two cents - I still read in the am and pm - and appreciate the divergent voices. Count me as a "please stay".
