Laura Bush has HER OWN PLANE? Called "BRIGHT STAR?" Give me as Taxpayer a Break!
Edited on Tue Jun-26-07 06:00 PM by KoKo01
(and why is Laura's Plane called "Bright Star?") ...is it a Bitch Slap by her hubby who KNOWS that Condi Rice's NICKNAME was "LITTLE STAR" (given to her by her Dad) but featured in her Senate Confirmation Hearings?

So...Chimperor names First Lady's Personal Plane..."Bright Star?" :eyes: WHO IS BUSH REAL WIFE...or is he like Thomas Jefferson...and USES WOMEN OF COLOR?

Here's the link...kind of outraged me...this crap:

1. I'd imagine first ladys have used private planes for some time
This really doesn't surprise me at all.

2. I just gotta ask: Did Hillary do these little trips while Bill was
President? Why didn't Malveaux ask her what her mission is? Good will....naw...sightseeing?

3. Hillary Clinton had her own plane when she was First Lady, too.
Actually, what she had was access to a C-9 (the military designation for a DC-9) for the many trips she took. I don't think there's anything unusual about this -- except that Larva gets a 757, which is a much bigger, fancier airplane than a DC-9.

13. I think Laura should use the TWO AF-1 and 2 to take her "Mission" out to the
Infidels! Sheesh ...how much more do they need. There's ANOTHER PLANE which just takes the SUV's AND Secret Service!

Let them fly like the rest of us..get checked ...leave shoes and toiletries in Garbage Bins being forced to pay Airline Prices in Terminals for Replacements...MAYBE THEN...they'd learn what their policies have wrought!

9. She also took Amtrak at times. It really depends on the circumstances. After Sept. 11th...
the rules all changed.

I'm not sweating LauraB's flights. She'd rather stay home and smoke an' read.

4. I think the Secret Service
gives out the code names. Could be wrong, though.

And I gotta tell ya, anything that allows her to get away from W is okay in my book.

5. What is she supposeed to do? Stay home and bake cookies?
What is she going to do? Fly around in Air Force One and tell George to hitch a ride when she had dibs? Or would you put her on her on a commerical flight?

This is a non issue to me....

Really, I don't expect any First Lady to fly commercial. It's the same as when Hillary Clinton took her trip to Africa.
