Many people know that Dick Cheney is behind most of what has gone wrong with America's government. The collusion between much of mainstream media and the government, the repression of rights, the war, the war again and on and on. Recently, his office has made the claim that he is not subject to Congressional oversight because his office is part of the legislative and executive branch. Rigghhtttt. It's just one more made up, fiction that is outrageous and designed to divert attention.

Divert attention from what? Oh, the fact that the VP's office has been raiding the budget of other executive branch offices including the President's, the drug policy, CEQ, the 'faith based' initiatives and all the other offices housed under the White House.
Follow along, it's a short story with a major question.

2006 Administration-requested financial restructuring initiative

Extend the general provision for limited transfer authority ... to provide for a 10-percent transfer authority among all of the following accounts: The White House, Special Assistance to the President and Official Residence of the Vice President, Office of Management and Budget, United States Trade Representative, Office of National Drug Control Policy, Council on Environmental Quality, and Office of Science and Technology Policy. Transfers from the Special Assistance to the President and the Official Residence of the Vice President account are subject to the approval of the Vice President.

Here is the rationale for the restructuring "initiative":

"This initiative provides enhanced flexibility in allocating resources and staff in support of the President and the Vice President, and permits more rapid response to changing national needs and priorities."

Hmmm, so, in a nutshell, this means any public budget figure for the Executive Branch is totally bogus because they can raid 10% from EACH of the identified agencies to bolster their funds, WOW!

6. Basically making Iran-Contra into Policy
No need to hide it in some crazy-assed, backward plot, so full of holes that even the Washington Post could make a story out of it. Hell with that!

Just give Big Dick 10%. Call it Tithing for the Apocolypse. Give till it hurts...then give some more.

8. This means he has raided the treasury for up to 50 million dollars
what the hell is he doing with it. Since it is government funds he has to be sending it into something. Blackwater.....or another private army.

10. So will someone please explain to me...
why only a few Dems are seriously considering impeaching his evil ass? Thank God for them & Waxman & several others, however even Rahm blew off talk of impeaching the VP as untenable. Why????

Every day for a month we've gotten proof of Cheney's disregard for the Constitution he swore to uphold. There isn't an intern on this planet that would have sex with him OR his cigars so what do we have to do to get him impeached? Nothing else bothers him. Lecturing, political posturing, publicity - he lets these roll off his scales.

We can't stop the war in Iraq, we can't impeach the criminals in the WH, we can't defund the war in Iraq because then we wouldn't be supporting our troops. We can't stop the reweaving of our democracy, we can't force anyone to testify in front of Congress, we can't increase mileage standards, or environmental standards or put through alternative energy legislation - what the hell can we do? :wtf:

12. If I transfer money to my neighbor,
(a fellow citizen and human, obviously related) the neighbor must declare it as income and pay any due taxes.

When legislative allocated taxpayer money is sent to a non-authorized entity of government, are any taxes due?
