7. Those subway cars are horrible without AC.
Those folks stuck in them must be melting. I used to take the lex line downtown, and at least half the cars had crappy ac or none at all.

There is nothing like being stuck on a crowded subway car in a tunnel in midsummer when the power conks out. Been there. Done that. P U.

11. The 4, 5, 6 line is the busiest in the city.
Rush hour starts about four. At least the trains have power.

12. I was once stuck on a totally packed power outtage Number 7 train
Sitting in between platforms between 111th and Willets Point for the better part of an hour.

Fucking miserable. People were super pissed. Got back to Main Street and the power was out all over northern Queens. Went to my local bar and drank lukewarm beer by candlelight.
