Early in Arnold's career, he made an appearance on the Tonight Show with Johnny Carson. During his conversation with Johnny, he mentioned his struggle to make ends meet and how he worked with his friend and former bodybuider Franco Columbo. Franco was supplementing his income as a bricklayer and decided to have Arnold help him with the sales pitch (If you can imagine Arnold doing that with his bad English). Arnold admitted this on national television and actually thought it was funny that they would scope out a house with a chimney and while Arnold was blabbing away, Franco Columbo was shaking the chimney to loosen the bricks. After Franco would climb down off the roof and report the damage, they would add another victim to their fraud scheme.
