Two weeks ago we asked for your urgent help to ask Sen. Dodd to make sure an important divestment bill - that had been stuck in his committee for two months - finally got a vote on the Senate floor.

Thanks to your involvement, Senator Dodd has helped to move the bill. Late last week, he announced he was seeking an accelerated vote on the Sudan Divestment Authorization Act, a crucial bill that would protect states' rights to divest their pension funds from companies helping to fund the genocide.
