What a ridiculous nation we've become.
Just look at us, we should be ashamed of ourselves as a country, the world's biggest idiot is our figurehead president, and his vice president is singlehandedly destroying the world and we are all powerless to stop him. dick pisses in our faces and tells us to fuck off, and we just take it, like bullied children.

WTF America, W. T. F.?

1. All we can do LEGALLY is *vote out* corrupt Incumbents. Vote for the Democratic Primary Challenger.
Edited on Thu Jun-28-07 04:34 AM by ShortnFiery
This will ANNIHILATE our "illustrious" Legislators' *comfort level* with enabling Corporations to destroy our Middle Class. Hopefully within 4 to 8 years we'll have VOTED IN a Congress with backbone that can NOT be threatened or blackmailed. :grr:

5. You know, in short order, they will cease corruption if they wish to keep their JOB.
There are only so many answers and they are long term - but they are feasible solutions.

2. Something is bothering me about Reid and Pelosi.
When I see them on TV they have they have that "scared rabbit" look. I'm seriously wondering if their lives have been threatened. Has anyone else picked up on this?

8. That and the Constitution
Those Goddamned Pieces Of Paper.

But the Declaration is pretty clear about what must be done.

But will We The People DO what needs to be done?

I am beginning to think if American Idol had existed during The Revolutionary War, the British would have never had to fire a single shot.

19. The Constitution is almost totally in abeyance
Damned near every single article and amendment, with perhaps the exception of the 2nd and 3rd (give it time for the chains to set more tightly before these Amendments are breached.

So I cannot in good faith count the Constitution as something we "have", because for the most part, it simply no longer applies to the tyrants who rule us and the cowards who enable them and quiver in fear of them.

Chimpy's approval ratings are so low it could not possibly be politically dangerous.

Cheney's are even worse.

it's times like that that I remember the words of our last great president who said "There's nothing wrong with America that cannot be fixed by what is right with America."
