Yet another raving nut LTTE
This area generates them by the sackful...

Bush is committed to keeping us safe

In reply to Stephanie Salter’s column of Sunday, June 24:

I am delighted that Ms. Salter and her ilk are having nightmares over George Bush as our president. I am grateful that we have him as our leader. He is steadfast, strong and committed to keeping this country safe from an enemy sworn to do their best to eliminate us, along with Israel.

Ms. Salter and her hero Nancy Pelosi and other democratic leaders want to cut and run, leaving the Iraqi people in a quandary that would mean certain death and prison for many who have supported the move to democracy. My question to Ms. Salter is, why? Don’t you understand what would happen? Iraq would become a stronghold for these Islam extremists who would have more financing (Iraq oil). A haven for training and arms building that would develop overnight. Iran would be delighted to see this and would become even more dominate in this area, causing even more unrest. We would truly enter into a full-scale holy war.

1. Biggest cut and runners going
This person has the nerve to call the Democrats cut and runners, when bush and cheney are the two biggest saddest cut and runners going. Where were they during the Viet Nam War. And where were they during the attack on the Twin Towers. We know were bush was cutting and running and hiding by flying all over the country trying to get away from the terrorists. NOW THAT'S WHAT I CALL A CUT AND RUNNER. DON'T YOU.

2. It's not possible to argue against this letter
It's so wrong, it doesn't even reference reality at any point. This assclown exists in a fantasybubble.

4. Go to www.wral.com and read the public comments on articles about Bush.
Some people have overdosed on the kool-aid and gone completely around the bend. I don't know if they will ever see reality again.

9. The bigger question: how do we fix the country with them in it?
They fight any suggestion that doesn't involve beating everyone to death with baseball bats.

10. I know, and the Republicans encourage people's worst tendencies.
Even in many churches, the pastors - led by the Republican Party - encourage people's worst tendencies toward violence, hatred, fear, and intolerance.

The corporations have done this, and they control so much of the media. It's hard to figure out how to get the country out of this mess.

This one kills me......

" remind her that our soldiers are all volunteers and are serving our country because they want to. It is their decision."

People sign up for the US Military to protect THIS Country, not to illegally invade one, or to fight for another Country so they can vote....................

8. So we illegally invade their country and cause the problems
this writer describes. Yet we are supposed to stay there as illegal occupiers?

Here this person should watch this video and see what the Iraqis want: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pRV8EKgyCG8
