Lou Dobbs will be weepy with joy today ..and gloating from ear to ear..

What a grand waste of time.. No one ever planned to pass anything even remotely adequate/fair/responsible/decent.

Too bad all this fuss was aimed at the wrong issue.

They should have united behind the prosecution/jailing of ILLEGAL EMPLOYERS..

but hey.. immigrant crop pickers don't donate brazillions of dollars to campaigns, now do they??

1. My Republican senators, Kay Bailey Hutchison & John Cornyn, voted "NO"
I doubt their votes had anything do with concern for the working man.

At least it kept Iraq & Dick Cheney out of the headlines for a while.
