BROWN V BOE HAS JUST BEEN "DECONSTRUCTED",...and,...
,...people seem to be buying into a "choice" meme rather than acknowledging either the essential destruction of a case that advanced 'freedom' and equality in a democratic or,...acknowledge REALITY.

Let us start with REALITY. This case involved economic sufferings, something the entire nation is struggling with (as if travelling on a school bus for an hour is UNIQUE to this case,...PUHLEASE) as the school systems incorporate affirmative actions into an OBVIOUS UN-LEVEL economic reality.

This case was about economic struggles,...NOT RACE!!!!

However, THE DECISION IMPACTS RACE AND DOES NOTHING NOTHING NOTHING TO ADDRESS THE BUDGETARY CONCERNS PUBLIC SCHOOLS MUST FACE IN ADDITION TO THE "FUCKING OBVIOUS" ECONOMIC DISADVANTAGES OF MINORITIES.

I find it appalling that people are minimizing the impact of this SCOTUS decision. WTF is the matter with you?!!! What part of the civil rights movement DON'T YOU GET?

Oh! You MUST think it was ALL ABOUT BLACK PEOPLE,...and missed the fucking part about ALL minorities, including POOR PEOPLE.

God help us. Ignorance run AMOK!!!

The RW-ROBBER-BARRON MACHINE IS WINNING ITS WAR AGAINST YOUR MIND.

And they are using your tax dollars to pay for that war. This administration pays ALL OF YOUR BILLIONS to wage a war against your mind,...and has NO COMPETITION.

I don't think I'll hang around to watch them take you and this nation down,...for their goal of being all-powerful. I've seen enough and fought,...enough to satisfy my decision to let go and be satisfied that I did the best I could to inform.

4. What DUers are OK with this?
Not a flame, just don't think that is the case. Brown vs BOE is THE landmark case in racial segregation. How can any liberal (or decent person) be OK with its dismantling?

They're also OK with throwing out reproductive freedom and the enforcement of the separation of church and state.

8. Pfft. Don't displace blame!!! BushCO/neocon-CRIMINALS are responsible.
THEY are the ones who were bent upon power at all costs and are screwing this nation.

I mean,...why the hell would you blame ANYONE other than the CRIMINALS-IN-CHARGE?!!!!

You want justice? Hold the criminals-in-charge responsible.
You want democracy? Hold the criminals-in-charge responsible.
You want what? To hold anyone other than the criminal-in-charge responsible?

9. I haven't seen much in the way of holding anyone accountable
Thus far- the Dem leadership- and apparently, the same bunch of DINO's is all bark and no bite.

ANY reasonable person who looks at the situation as it's been going (for at least 7 years) cannot help but come to the conclusion that not only are these folks enablers- if not outright accomplices, they're surely accessories after the fact.

Why.

why.

why.

seems a distraction to blame anyone other than the perpetrators

seems an enabling tactic to point to others for the perpetrators' crimes

we may be "liberal" but we are NOT stupid

we acknowledge CRIMES AGAINST OTHERS

17. No- it's a fucking reality check.
and the reality is that supporting those who repeatedly legitimize and enable far right policies isn't much different than supporting Republicans.

The result is the same- especially over the longer term.

Which is groups like this have been organized:

Working for Us

Are you ready to help hold Congress accountable to America's promise?

There are three core beliefs driving Working For Us PAC. First, lawmakers should represent the interests of the constituents they represent. Second, lawmakers, especially Democrats, should fight for the middle class. And third, those who don't should be replaced by lawmakers who will.

6. Nothing gets my point across,...it seems,...nothing.
What do I propose to "overrule" SCOTUS?

Law.

What is most bothersome to me is: the "ROBERTS COURT" just took a step AGAINST the laws that MAKE THIS NATION an equal nation.

,...the "ROBERTS COURT" just ate away at the equality women, children, all minorities sacrificed their lives for,...

We are now set back a fucking century of progress towards democracy.

EMBRACE THAT!!!!

12. Did you see the other SCOTUS opinion
Speaking of the robber-barron machine. The Supreme Court overturned price fixing today. A manufacturer can now dictate to a retailer what price specific products are sold for. Which means a big box can force a manufacturer to give them certain products at a given price, while that same manufacturer sets prices for mom 'n pops to drive them out of business. Bad bad news.

What's worse - that nobody has mentioned - is that they overturned 90+ years of anti-trust precedence and clearly said they don't believe they have to respect past decisions, that past decisions "does not compel our continued adherence". Like past decisions on abortion, perhaps.

We're all in trouble, on all fronts.

And,..it will be perfectly OKAY.

As if they haven't succeeded with their RW radio hate stations and control over the media and taxpayer-supported subsidies to the richest and to the propaganda.

Watch teevee. See what you will never have but are inspired to believe you will get,...someday,...an opportunity to be a RICH SUCCESSFUL AMERICAN DREAM ON TEEVEE.

Geesh. Please, forgive, my,...disgust.

Edited to,...correct spelling of "corporatocracy",...*LOL* God forgive the alternative to FASCISM,..can NOT use that word.

22. A "pretense" to an "equality" that has NEVER existed. BUT, pretend like it does and VOILA,...
,...the empire has "created" an equality that NEVER existed.

I think there are way, too many, people who fail to absorb what this regime is all about: an empire. This regime IS operating as an EMPIRE. No one seems to accept, that. Even the members in Congress can not wrap their minds around the extravogance of this regime,...because,...it IS UNBELIEVABLE. But, they are, this regime.

I hope this nation, its people, its 'representatives',..will take the challenge, seriously. Fuck! After all the violations of state, of people, of the world,...I wonder if the scum hasn't taken over, already.

We witnessed the reversal of every democratic and basic human hope fought the last century,...destroyed in merely six and a half years. That is discouraging. It's,...horrifying.

Maybe, we will REJECT those who USE our pride for nefarious purposes.

Maybe, we will FIGHT against all those who betray us and this nation.

Maybe.
