Poll question: Who do you hate more - Conservative Politicians or Conservative Pundits
Conservative Politicians include such low-lights as George W. Bush, Dick Cheney, Alberto Gonzeles (appointed I suppose), Tom Delay, Newt Gingrich, Donald Rumsfeld, Karl Rove etc.

Conservative Pundits include Sean Hannity, Rush Limbaugh, David Limbaugh, Ann Coulter, Robert Novak, Michael Savage, Cal Thomas, Dennis Prager, etc.

I must admit that Pundits get under my skin a bit more than politicians; which is silly because they don't actually have the power to send people into die the way politicians do (and are doing).

2. I hate them both.
Hate isn't a strong enough word to describe my feelings for them. It is beyond hate.

3. jesus....I hate the mainstream MEDIA infinitely more than I hate either group.
Edited on Thu Jun-28-07 03:03 PM by Gabi Hayes
they do what they do pretty much because that's the way they are. they almost can't help it

M$M, at the corporate, editorial, and reportorial level have made the conscious decision to spout the RW line, ever since Reagan, certainly, and most likely since Carter was elected, then run out of town on a proverbial rail, after promising to do things differently than had been done in the past.

you can look it up, starting with Liberty Under Seige, by Walter Karp. good luck finding it.

the corporate media has been the single most important factor in this nation's slide into irrevocable fascim

get used to it

best, latest example: mindboggling SCOTUS decisions coming down this week

do you think they'll stop at ANYTHING now?

do you think they have ANY fear of the "justice" system? they'll get their "emergency" appeals heard before any of them serve a minute in jail, as will happen with Scooter, then, the appropriate court will strike down said convictions, just as the Silberman court did with North/Poindexter

4. They are all equally horrible!
The O'Reillys and Limbaughs of the world have the power to reach far more people than the Bushes and Cheneys of the world... and people buy into their bullshit. It sucks.

6. Conservative pundits are just well paid yipping liitle dogs who piss all over...
the place and bite your ankles. Yes, they are annoying and destructive, but they still can't compare to conservative politicians.
I despise both groups, though

8. They're One and The Same
Edited on Thu Jun-28-07 02:59 PM by The Duke
Hating one more than the other is like hating the bear's teeth
more than its jaws...they work together as one.

(Did that analogy make any sense at all?)

13. Maybe we should send them on a road trip with Mitt Romney?
Just imagine Mush and Savage strapped to the top of a station wagon, shitting themselves and blaming it all on the "liberals".

7. Pundits - The pundits keep the rabble roused which keeps the politicians in office.
Without the pundits there'd be fewer conservative politicians in office.

9. They have a symbiotic relationship
Without one you couldn't have the other, if it weren't for all the lowlifes littering up the media nobody but the ultra wealthy or extreme fundies would be conservative. So, it's hard to say but if I were to say i'd guess I'd take more pleasure in hanging the pigboy than i would a politico.

10. Without the pundits to propagandize the masses...
The politicians would have little power.

12. Other - I hate Conservative MEDIAWHORE corporations.
Conservative politicians will always exist, and they will always be morons. But they weren't in the majority until the mediawhores convinced millions of people to vote against their own interests (we call them the "red states".

And without the right wing corporate media, Mush Limpdick would have been an obscure talk radio host, Novak and Thomas would have been limited to a few unread newspapers, and idiots like Coulter and Savage would have never been known. Let alone Mush's even less talented brother.
