Dems Mantra Should Be "What are they hiding?" |
|
As Senator Schumer said today, "Maybe everyone has acted honorably. But show me an administration that craves secrecy, and I'll show you an administration that probably has something to hide," It is now well established in the public record that this has been the most secretive administration in the history of this nation. The upcoming Constitutional show down that looms over today's refusal by the White House to comply with Congressional subpoenas is a political jewel if used properly. The majority of the American people will not accept the concept of our elected officials holding themselves above the law. The claim of Executive priledge is well known to be a Nixonian tactic that won't hold much water, especially in matters that border on possible impeachable offenses. I think Bushco is now caught between the devil and deep blue sea and the Repuke members of Congress are going to flee the sinking ship before they all drown. Folks, this is gonna be fun - but in a very sad way. One can only hope that something good will come from all of this. It had better or else.
