Is anybody else planning to watch the Democratic Debate tonight on PBS?
Edited on Thu Jun-28-07 03:37 PM by irkthesmirk
Tavis Smiley was on Democracy Now today and he brushed aside criticism that he was using Frank Luntz to monitor reaction to the candidates. Personally, I don't share his confidence that Luntz won't be able to skew things in a negative light. I might watch it just to see what happens. Anyone else?

11. Your out of luck that won't be the topic tonight, so sorry.
BTW the question has been asked and answered, it's just people didn't like the answer.

17. It's not so much that we don't like the answer as ...
that we don't like the person who first voted as she did and then gave the answer as to why. If she's the Dem candidate, the GOP may well win the presidency again -- because many of us WILL NOT vote for Hillary.

13. I just lost some respect for Smiley.
He's clueless if he thinks Luntz will be impartial and unbiased.

19. Smiley said ( FWIW) that they would be asking questions that have not been addressed
They have three "minority" panelists that will be asking questions about issues that affect minorities. I think John Edwards should have the upper hand but we'll see...
