I used the internet provided in the waiting room of a doctor's office..." |
|
typed in "Democratic Underground", & there in the browser's cache was "Democratic Underground". Living in Jindal/Vitter country, it was a comfort knowing that someone who had previously used the computer had checked out DU.
Not much, but thought I'd share. :)

2. Now that would be a pleasant surprise |

Occasionally I use the computers supplied by my library and have yet to get one that has DU in their cache. But am sure it will happen one of these days.
Good doctor's office. Sounds like a keeper.

3. I was pleasantly surprised, let me tell you. |

I asked the receptionist if it was for public use & she said "sure", then she walked over to put in the password. I typed in only the first few letters & "democraticunderground" showed up in the cache.
