Former U.S. Senate Majority Leader Bill Frist will join the faculty of Princeton University's Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs this fall, the university announced this week.
A Princeton University alumnus, Dr. Frist is a former U.S. senator from Tennessee and assistant professor of surgery at Vanderbilt Medical School, where he founded the multi-organ Vanderbilt Transplant Center.
Woodrow Wilson School Dean Anne-Marie Slaughter said in a university press release that Dr. Frist's "years of experience in public service as a doctor and as a leader in the U.S. Senate make him an ideal practitioner-professor."
She added, "Our students will benefit from his perspectives both as a healer and as Senate majority leader."

1. Fortunately for the students, he'll rarely be in class.
Too rich, too self-important.

2. Princeton is bottom feeding. May as well teach as he diagnoses-by home movies.

I have often wondered about his charity surgery in Africa. I wonder if it is experimental.
