Dear Joe,
I wanted to acknowledge the extreme manliness you showed today when you stood up and said that you were more than willing to bear the burden of watching other people fight and die in the massacre that you support.
Sure, you didn't use those exact words but you were tough and stood up for your beliefs. You stood for your belief that your constituents really don't matter to you when you said "We've got to think not about the next election but the next generation". After all who cares what the electorate thinks, we need to make sure the next generation gets shipped off to Iraq right?
We need to make sure that these kids who you have told us for so many years were being corrupted by video game violence get sent off to participate in some real violence, because how can a moral person choose to blow up something in a video game when they could be blowing up real people in real life?
After all, you tell us all the killing you are making these young men and women witness is really bringing peace to Iraq. Just today
you told us that your "surge" has the enemy "on the run".
So we must be in the last throes of the insurgency, right Joe? This is your Mission Accomplished moment Joe, and I was very disappointed to see that picture of you wearing a common suit and holding a clenched fist.
A common suit like that just does not look tough enough Joe, we need to get you a flight suit. We need to put you on an aircraft carrier underneath a big banner that says "THE ENEMY IS ON THE RUN", we will even let you stuff your crotch to show what a big man you are for helping to put the enemy on the run like you have.
You resemble your friend George so well Joe that I think you deserve to dress up like him. Today it can be a flight suit, and in the future maybe, just maybe you will be able to dress up in the same orange jumpsuit he will be dressing up in. One can only hope.
Sincerely,
A citizen of the Earth
