edit to add snip:

PNAC was launched by Kristol and Kagan in 1997, shortly after their publication of an article in Foreign Affairs magazine entitled "Toward a Neo-Reaganite Foreign Policy", in which they called for Washington to exercise "benevolent global hegemony" to be sustained "as far into the future as possible".

2. One caller asked why no-one who was pushing this war has actually served
in the Military, let alone combat... and a few callers later he was asked about the PNAC signers.

Very good calls this morning. :)

4. Another Good Question
Basically the speaker said he didn't go to Vietnam because he had a high lottery number. The caller now said, "you could have volunteered." Gosh, what morons support this administration! Of course the AEI guy avoided responding to that remark.

5. Totally Clueless..More CYA
Welcome to the opening salvo of the Repugnican "who lost Iraq" debate. Of couse, we know in the end, the Democrats will get the ultimate blame, but right now this is interesting to see the Neo-Cons point the fingers at one another.

Rumsfeld looks like the AEI fall-guy...blame it all on him. Somehow I can just see the memo with "SCI" on it with those talking points.

These goons don't go on C-SPAN by accident. They are planted there by the AEI for a reason and this looks like the first admissions from this shark pit Iraq is a lost cause...now they're trying to blame the blood off their hands.
