Chaos grips New York in wake of iPhone shortage....

Riots rocked downtown New York City and San Francisco as tens of thousands of eager customers began rioting after Steve Jobs announced that every Apple employee, both full- and part-time, will obtain a complimentary iPhone at the expense of availability to the general public.

New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg ordered the police to raze the remaining stock of Apple iPhones in public view in efforts to quell the on-going violence. Additionally, Apple stores themselves will be commandeered by armed SWAT units and employees are being detained as agitants pending an official state inquiry. It is unclear whether or not similar measures are being taken in other cities to prevent the spread of violence.

(yes, it's a joke...)

You know people's priorities in this country are out of whack when people are willing to riot over a phone.

What about almost 50 million Americans who have no health insurance? What about a never ending war in Iraq?

OOOOOh just saw it was a joke silly me!:dunce:

4. This is insane.
I'm sitting here worried how my mother is going to survive catastrophic medical bills related with the death of my step-father and what she's going to live on since she's actually too disabled to work full time (and we're not sure if she can even get disability) and these people are rioting over a fucking PHONE.

:eyes:

My God.
