Former first lady Lady Bird Johnson leaves hospital (Reuters/CNN)
HOUSTON , Texas (Reuters) -- Former first lady Lady Bird Johnson, 94, left an Austin, Texas, hospital Thursday after six days of tests and observation, a Johnson family spokesman said.

"Because of her stroke in 2002, her family and physicians always operate with caution," spokesman Neal Spelce said in a statement. "Everyone -- especially Mrs. Johnson -- is so pleased that she is home."

The widow of late President Lyndon Johnson was suffering from a low-grade fever when she was admitted on June 22 to Seton Medical Center in Austin.

The stroke left her with speech difficulties, but she still occasionally appears at public events in Austin, the Texas capital.

1. 94? How awesome!
There was a scene in a recent Big Love where the guy who puts up billboards has Lady Bird's face on a dartboard and referred to her as a bitch because of her Beautify America campaign which sought to restict billboards. Bill got thoroughly mad at the guy for not getting to his billboards fast enough and added, by the way you shouldn't be disrespectful to a First Lady!

4. I don't think LBJ told her flat-out that he OK'd the hit on JFK
But it would be nice if she told anything and everything she DID know from her time in the White House before she passed...
