And let chimp decide to accept the timetable or shut down the federal government. Clinton won this battle when it happened with Gingrich in '95, but Clinton won it because he had public opinion on his side for refusing to cut Medicare. Since 70%+ are in favor of getting out of Iraq, Pelosi and the Democrats will have public opinion on their side and the Republic Party will eventually have to either persuade Bush to sign it, or override the veto.
