I hope all this China crap inspires
more small or large businesses to set sail! It pisses me off that we are in such huge debt with China that we can't just tell them to go F*&^ themselves! We need more manufacturing businesses for jobs and products FOR AMERICANS! What has happened to America? When did we become slaves without any hope? If it just happened in the last 7 years-I know the answer!

1. It would be great for the Democratic candidate to run with "Made in America, again"
So many are sick of crappy Chinese imports.

2. As I recall, American companies actually received tax credits to pack
up their manufacturing machinery and ship it to china. In other words, our government paid these companies to leave.

3. Haven't you heard? Globalization is a "fact of life", and we should just "embrace it"!
:sarcasm:

"Free trade" = Money made for the Predator Class; lost jobs for the working and middle classes.

5. All this China S$$T began way back w/Nixon
Some here are old enough to remember when VP Nixon went to China in the late '50's. It was a monumental event; he was lauded as "opening up China to the West". Even during JFK & LBJ administrations, these neocons were working their "business deals" on the sly. Finally when Raygun came along, things really kicked into gear so they could exploit the "slave labor market". So has been a long evolved process.

I believe it was a concerted effort to shift $ into China so they could build up their military base & be used as our "next big threat of war" so the military industrial complex can keep on sucking money off both sides. It had the dual effect of demolishing our manufacturing base, which adds another layer of fear...both economically & strategically.

Damn the neocon.
