what in the world is wrong with David Shuster?
Edited on Fri Jun-29-07 05:16 PM by Gabi Hayes
he's talking to Bernie Kerik, as I type, about the London developments

WTF? is this the first step in soon-to-be-indicted Kerik's rehabilitation in the media?

words fail....

1. Jeez, I really thought HE knew better...
It must have been a "talk to Bernie or you'll pay" situation.

It DOES damage the franchise though, doesn't it?

he had the almost more reprehensible Jeb Babbin on the other day, and just creamed his jeans over him, calling him his "great friend" or something very close to that. he just swooned

if you're unfamiliar with Babbin, think of a wounded badger in heat

5. Giuliani was there during that bombing and during Russian theater terror siege.
Just another one of them thar co - in - cee - dents.

When I pointed out that Giuliani just happened to be in these countries speaking about 'terrorism' when these attacks happened, my post got moved to 9-11 forum.

6. That would be logical. MSNBC has occasionally had the bozo on as an analyst in the past. NT

9. He covered Kerik's fall from grace in some detail for MSNBC
Including all of the salacious details: http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/6729799/

Kerik's fall
Dec. 14: 'Hardball's' David Shuster reports on Bernard Kerik's withdrawal as President Bush's nominee to oversee the Homeland Security agency.

10. thanks...seen this? too friggin funny:
http://www.nypost.com/seven/06192007/news/regionalnews/keriks_cry_over_rudy_regionalnews_austin_fenner.htm

"It's like dying a slow death, watching him have to answer for my mistakes," the former top cop said of the ex-New York mayor-turned-presidential-candidate.

Kerik dished up the surprisingly frank comments in a dark, F-bomb-infused interview in the August edition of Best Life magazine.

In the bizarre chat, he said he is now working for the Jordanian government overseeing its construction of "an underground, seismic-shock proof, oxygen-stowing compound that could withstand a nuclear attack. >>>>>like the one you helped Rudy design for building 7? haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

"At least here in Jordan, I stand half a chance," Kerik whined. "Back home, it's death by a thousand cuts - cuts to your emotions, finances, family and your life. Now is the darkest time in my life, and nothing I have been through has gotten me ready for it. I am truly f- - -in' afraid.

12. That whiney photo accompanying the article is priceless.
The NY Post does have a talent with the long knives:

"My wife is a wreck," Kerik added. "And anytime there's stress like this, whether you intend to or not, you take it out on each other - husband and wife - and you take it out on your kids.

(Gee. Ya don't suppose fucking all those other women in that Ground Zero love nest might have contributed to your wife's upset, there, Bernie?)

"There are times I'm so f- - -ing depressed, I don't want to work. I don't want to get out of bed. You go to sleep, you wake up in a f- - -ing sweat."

(Turn on the swamp cooler, Bernie--it's hot in Jordan this time of year!!)

Kerik copped last year to accepting $165,000 in free renovations on his Riverdale, Bronx, apartment by a mobbed-up contractor.

(Aah, but of COURSE there was no quid pro quo...the guy was just...uh, nice...or something!)

A picture IS worth a thousand words!!!

14. com' on now!
David Schuster is filling in for the 'inimitable' tfucker. My opinion--he takes what they give him.

As an added comment---why doesn't MSNBC get rid of tfucker and set David up in his stead?

Yeah- I know, I know..............
