2. You get used to it...

I was in London one day and was evacuated from the Victoria bus station to wander down to the Victoria tube station to be evacuated from that. 2 evacuations in 10 minutes. You get used to it.

3. Some one seems to have been blowing London up since I was a kid

I guess they get used to it. I was born in the 30's. Germans, Irish and Arabs. I wonder they take it so well and they do always seem to win in the end. Fact is some one has been blowing up things in this country it seems for ever. From the KKK and on ward we have had our own brand of people who kill to make a point. I do think History is full of this type stuff.

5. It used to be the IRA.

I remember going to London for the first time in the mid 70s. It was awe inspiring to me to see signs in the tube stations and on the trains that read: "If you see an unattended package or bag do not touch it. Report it immediately to London Transport personnel." Or something like that. No place in the world better prepared for this kind of thing.
