Lieberman calls for more patience on Iraq

"Lieberman calls for more patience on Iraq"

"Calling for more patience for the president's policy in Iraq, Sen. Joe Lieberman said Thursday that the "surge" has the enemy "on the run."

We're not sure which enemy Lieberman had in mind: the enemy who killed five American soldiers and wounded seven more in a coordinated attack in southern Baghdad Thursday, or the enemy who planted a car bomb in London this morning."

I guess reality is intruding in on poor joe's ego. Just not enough. Wasn't he saying that things were coming up roses just a month ago?

4. He means more 'patients', as in....
.... quadriplegics, PTSD etc. etc. etc.

And plenty of cadavers besides. And orphans.

Lieberman is truly a national treasure:

From wikipedia: "Lieberman never served in the military. A spokesperson told the Hartford Courant in 1994 that Lieberman received an educational deferment from the Vietnam War draft when he was an undergraduate and law student from 1960 to 1967. Upon graduating from law school at 25, Lieberman qualified for a family deferment as he was already married and had one child.<10>"
