One Night Only

Gore, Bon Jovi, and the Next President

http://pol.moveon.org/event/events/index.html?action_id=86

MoveOn members are joining the party. In thousands of living rooms, coffee houses,
bars and back yards, we'll tune into the global broadcast. We'll watch a special preview
of presidential candidates answering MoveOn members' questions on the climate.
And we'll share a barbeque or potluck meal together.

It's the biggest party the planet has ever needed.

Breeze54, can You Make It This Saturday?

This Saturday, 7/7/07, we're getting together for the biggest party ever.

We'll join 2 billion other people to watch Al Gore's Live Earth Concerts,
and we'll be the first to see highlights of the MoveOn Virtual Town Hall
on the climate crisis. It'll be a night of barbeque or potluck, watching
'08 Democratic presidential contenders answer questions from MoveOn members,
and rocking out to acts like the Police, Madonna, Bon Jovi, and Kanye West.

The next day, we'll all vote by e-mail on who's best to lead us on this issue
and send an important message about the most progressive plan on the climate crisis.

We're hosting these parties with our partners at the League of Conservation Voters,
the Ella Baker Center for Human Rights, and the Campaign for America's Future.

R.S.V.P.: Can you attend the Virtual Town Hall meeting this Saturday?

:bluebox: Find a party near you!!!

5. Yep. Mr. Fish managed to represent the sum of all of my fears
in one cartoon. If we push Cheney out before he can institute a nuclear strike on Iran and we have an election then a Dem will win (provided the R's can't steal as many votes as they need to "win") -- once the Dem is in, then what?

:scared:

Nader was interviewed by Amy Goodman on C-SPAN 1 today -- Nader said that Barack Obama is promising to expand and modernize the military. Expand and modernize. Holy hell.
