TGIF, Truthseekers!

To surge or not to surge, that seems to be the ongoing question facing the Bush Crime Family these days. The White House insists its still "too early" to judge whether or not The Decider's "New Way Forward" surge strategy in Iraq has been successful.

The final number of troops deployed for the surge only recently arrived in Iraq, said spokesman Tony Fratto, and it "is certainly way too early to give any kind of definite grade on how the surge is doing," he said.

"We see hopeful signs of progress. We see hopeful signs of success. (But) we're certainly not in a place to say that the surge has been a success. And we think no one is in a place to say that the surge is not a success either."

This statement arrives on the heels of Sen. Pete Dominici's (R/NM) news briefing Thursday in which he called for a new strategy in Iraq since its now apparant the Iraqi government remains powerless to defend the nation or quell sectarian violence, much less meet any of Chucklenutz long-promised benchmarks. Dominici is the latest Republican defector from the Bush Crime Family war juggernaut.

Meanwhile at the Pentagon today, another general is asking for more time to complete "the mission" in Iraq. Major General Rick Lynch, commander of coalition forces south of Baghdad, said earlier today: "It's going to take some time to mature the situation. Over time we can turn the area over to Iraqi security forces and then we'll be ready to do something that looks like a withdrawal, but that's not going to happen any time soon."

How much longer does the nonstop killing have to continue before the Bush Crime Family calls a failure a failure? If Cheney really isn't a member of the Executive Branch, why is he still ordering up so much death and destruction? Is his requirement for fresh blood THAT excessive?
