1. But when asked about impeaching Clinton 78% said NOOOOOOO!
Of course, that didn't keep the GOP from impeaching him anyway -- and winning the next presidential election anyway.

Some days, I sure wish I was a Republican. I hate everything about them, but unlike the Democrats, at least they FIGHT!

5. Are you saying Bush actually won the next election?
Truth be known, according to polls after impeachment, Clinton's favorability went up 10 points, and Republican's UNfavorability also went up 10 points.

The Reps "won" 00 in spite of the negatives they got from the impeachment, not because of.

10. Clinton
was NOT impeached.

The pugs attempted to impeach him, but they failed.

I'm sorry, but it just bugs me every time I hear someone misstate the outcome of that witch hunt.

7. It's the 50% of independents that grabs my eye;
and it's enough to make me wonder if I really have been too harsh on Pelosi & Reid: After all, at this rate in a couple of months there will be a broad national consensus calling for the heads of the Decider and the Dick of Death on pikes, and decisions reached by consensus are the easiest ones to implement. We'll see.

9. I really hope Pelosi and Reid know what they are doing because
if these stats are true and this many Americans want impeachment and Pelosi keeps saying "no", I think the shit will hit the fan and the Dems will be blamed, as well they might should be.

18. That is the potential downside, of course,
and I wish I could be confident enough to say it couldn't happen, but let's not kid ourselves.

15. It's the 30% of Dems that "oppose" that grabs my eye
Because that's likely a result of the anti-impeachment campaign by the DC Dem beltway bumpkins.

My guess is that the bulk of them would flip overnight, so the "real" support number is more like 56%.

But actually, the public/electorate has been at this point for some time now.

13. I want to know why Republicans in such high numbers oppose impeachment and still want to hang with
Dick and W......WHY????? Seriously, why????? Why would these people after everything that has been revealed still support these people and oppose impeachment, when these very same people wanted Clinton to hang by the gallows???

I just don't get it and never will....If there is any reason to have zero respect for someone who claims to be "Republican" it is this....I don't know if they even know what they believe in, other than having tax cuts, fighting them over there so we don't have to fight them here and terror terror terror.....oh yeah, and making sure the queers don't marry or have kids....

dicovered that they indeed had stolen the election!
