"Police are looking for a 12-year-old white female who was last seen around 9:45 p.m. Wednesday walking in the alley behind her family’s house in the 2500 block of South J Street in Tacoma.

A witness heard a girl scream, looked in the alley and saw an older gray van drive away, according to police.

Zina Linnik, the missing girl and daughter of Ukranian parents, is 4 feet 10 inches tall, weighs 80 pounds and has blonde hair. She was last seen with her hair in a ponytail and wearing a pink T-shirt, pink, orange and yellow capri pants and flip-flop sandals."

15. As I understand it, at first the witness thought it could have

been a neighbor (who is an asian male), because the van looked similar.
The witness did not get a good look at the man. The police say they ruled the neighbor out, so they don't even know if the possible abductor is an asian male.
The witness also didn't see if the child actually was in the van.
It does not seem they have a lot to go on.
